Ever since I was a child, I have been interested in the digital and technological world, having a keen interest in computers and their operation, illustration programs and web page design. A fact that met with my parents' disapproval as they would almost daily come across electronic devices that I had dismantled due to my insatiable curiosity to know how things work.

I also devoured comics of all kinds and genres, which I later tried to draw with a kit of Indian ink and a nib that came with my weekly collectible. I drew a lot, too much, with the intention of one day being able to create a comic in my own style. I was fascinated with creating characters, building their personalities and abilities; and similarly for the design of the environments where their plots would unfurl. This practice got me interested in illustration, manga, superheroes and techniques for drawing with G-pen and Rotrings pens. I was attracted to typography and calligraphy when it came to inserting texts in the frames and I enjoyed creating eccentric onomatopoeias. This of course led to another upset for my parents, due to the large amount of paper I was getting through and textbooks for of doodles that they couldn't resell.

In the same way that my interest in the digital world and that of comics was born, I developed a passion for video-games, seeing in them all my enthusiasms combined. Portable consoles were my favourites, as were RPG games, graphic novels, arcades, open world and exploration games.

The discovery of graphic design was the final piece in the puzzle that had been years in the making. I acquired knowledge of digital image processing and editorial layout. I immersed myself in the world of typography and the work of interesting creators, the design of interfaces and web code, 3D modelling and animation... I came to know a world which totally hooked me in.

Currently almost all my projects, plus personal ones, take inspiration from these varied hobbies and influences. I try, as far as possible, to design characters or elements that communicate a message or tell a story through digital, typographic and illustrative experiences.

Overview

This End User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is a contract between Alen Lobeiras (hereinafter referred to as "Alen Lobeiras") and you, the Licensee (the individual, entity, or organization agreeing to this Agreement), in relation to your access to or use of the Fonts (digital font file software representing the typeface) from Alen Lobeiras. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or otherwise handling the Fonts, you agree to the terms of this Agreement. In doing so, you confirm that you understand and will adhere to its conditions.

Licence Scope

The Fonts included under this Agreement are provided in full version and are available in OpenType Font format (.otf), Web Open Font Format (.woff, .woff2), and Variable Font technology (.ttf, .woff, .woff2).

By purchasing the End User Licence for designers, studios, and indie developers, you are obtaining a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual, and worldwide licence to use the Fonts as specified in this Agreement. You do not receive any rights to the copyright or intellectual property of the font design or any other part of the Fonts. All such rights remain with the original designer.

If you are acting on behalf of an end user, it is your responsibility to ensure that they accept this Agreement as written.

Any rights not explicitly granted under this Agreement remain reserved by Alen Lobeiras.

Permitted Use

The Fonts may be used for self-initiated, personal projects, preview and evaluation purposes, pitches, competitions, and presentations within your organization or for your clients, solely to demonstrate the potential use of the Fonts. This also includes student work for educational purposes and portfolio use. Fonts can be used on private websites only for testing purposes, with no public access.

The End User Licence permits you to install the Fonts on an unlimited number of devices within your organization.

Prohibited Actions

You are prohibited from using the Fonts for any commercial activities. This includes, but is not limited to, any consumer-facing applications, projects related to your usual business activities, commissions, or sales involving the Fonts.

You must not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, edit, reformat, alter, or attempt to access the source code of the Fonts or the designs they embody. Additionally, you may not create derivative works based on the Fonts, nor engage third parties to do so for custom design or the creation of static documents or images.

This End User Licence does not permit you to share the Fonts or the licence with any third parties or subcontractors working on your behalf.

Duration and Termination

This Agreement will automatically terminate if you, or any party authorized by you to use the Fonts, fail to comply with its terms. Termination does not preclude Alen Lobeiras from seeking damages for any breach of this Agreement. Furthermore, Alen Lobeiras reserves the right to charge you the cost of a commercial licence based on the actual usage of the Fonts on a per-infringement basis.

Disclaimer

Alen Lobeiras makes no express or implied warranty that the Fonts are suitable for any particular purpose. Alen Lobeiras shall not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Fonts, even if you have been informed of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold Alen Lobeiras harmless from any claims or damages resulting from your misuse of the Fonts or violation of this Agreement.

Legal Considerations

You acknowledge that the typeface design and Font software are protected under Spanish copyright and intellectual property laws, as well as the copyright and design laws of other countries and international treaties.

This Agreement supersedes all previous discussions or negotiations, whether verbal or written. No amendment, modification, or waiver is valid or enforceable unless documented in a written agreement signed by Alen Lobeiras.

If any part of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable as per the terms outlined. Alen Lobeiras' decision not to enforce a provision of this Agreement at any given time does not constitute a waiver of their right to do so later.

Grant of License

Trial licence

We offer trial versions of selected fonts for testing purposes. Trial fonts have a limited character set and are provided solely for use in non-commercial projects such as presentations and student work. Any commercial use of trial fonts is strictly prohibited.
